A WOMAN WILL LEAD RADIO MAENDELEO

Jolly KAMUNTU  is now the new Director of Community Radio Maendeleo of Bukavu.

The President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Women's Media AFEM SK Jolly Kamuntu NTABUNGE was promoted to director of Radio Maendeleo Bukavu since Thursday, September 22.
It replaces in this position Mushizi NFUNDIKO Kizito, who had spent 18 years in this position.


Before being appointed to this position, Jolly Kamuntu held almost all positions of the radio. First as external collaborator, producer and then as a producer journalist,  as producer journalist in Editor in Chief and Chief of the programs, now as director.
 
The confirmation was made by the Chair of the Board of maendeleo radio Angela Bahige during the ceremony organized for this purpose. A letter confirming this position was given to him forthwith. Now, the structure of Radio Maendeleo, or the board to management will be led by two women.
Several directors of radio stations and their representatives were present at this event.
Honorary Director was crowned by a patent of merit by the board for the work done for all these years.
 

The Director congratulated incoming and placed the words of thanks to his predecessor, when he arrived on the radio it was he who had recruited as external collaborator.

Jolly Kamuntu a stick takes control of Radio Maendeleo, known in eastern DRC for its professionalism and training in journalistic career.
