AFEM SK is against the aggression of children in DRC

Children, all over the world, not all so lucky. Sometimes some of them from aggression, which is why the United Nations chose the date of June 4, which, since 1992, recalls the violence suffered by thousands of young people.
The majority of young people are exploited in different ways by adults and, although the rights of children are now rights "sacred", poverty, work and conflicts often lead them to perform acts that lead to their
loss. It is for this reason that the Association of Media Women of South Kivu joins the United Nations has chosen the June 4 to remember and fight against violence suffered by many young people.
In DRC, for example where several children, girls and boys have become  miners, spend their days in the mines in search of the precious stone.

This work has enormous risks. In case of landslide soil, it is not sure they will come out alive. To return to the surface, he uses a rope that is pulled from the outside by three of his colleagues who also gave them all instructions or notify it of potential hazards.

The girls are prized by diamond diggers who find in them a true sexual entertainment after a day both exhausting and dangerous in mines.
These same children have become a labor cheaper for builders of the city of Bukavu. It is they who run the slabs of stories above the city.
Some in-between are quick to turn into the bandit night and would form the basis of several cases of insecurity in the city and so one.
The competent authority should take concrete measures to fight against this constant danger.
It is since 1992 that the United Nations chose the date of 04 June to commemorate the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression.
