Chouchou Namegabe value in the field of Media in South Kivu


For its second edition, the provincial council of the youth of South Kivu presents the degree of merit called "South Kivu Benchmark Award" 2nd edition, the Coordinator of the Women's Media Association of South Kivu, Chouchou Namegabe. It is recognized as a value in the field of media in South Kivu province with three other journalists in the province.


The appointment was made this Friday, October 28 by the Provincial Council of Youth in South Kivu. In his speech, Chouchou Namegabe called youth of south kivu to take responsibility in hand.

The Coordinator of the Women's media Association AFEM SK, told young that the future of the DRC depends on the upcoming elections, which are expected in November 2011. She said these elections require everyone's responsibility at all levels for Congo peace and developed.

Different people in several areas were also nominated.
The media had 4 people, among them were three members of the AFEM South Kivu. Coordinator of the Association of Women's Media Chouchou NAMEGABE, the Director of Vision Shala Tv Blaise NGOY SANYILA, Caddy ADZUBA journalist for Radio Okapi and Delphi Namuto journalist for Radio Okapi.
The jury of CPJ / SK says that, these nominees will serve as a benchmark and reference in the development and citizen participation throughout the DRC.

L’Association des Femmes des Médias du Sud Kivu (AFEM-SK) est une organisation à but non lucratif (OBNL) créée en vertu de la loi congolaise du 10 Août 2003. Les membres d’AFEM-SK sont composés de femmes actives dans les médias du Sud-Kivu et les maisons de presse. AFEM-SK est spécialisée dans la production des émissions radio en milieu rurale comme en milieu urbain avec un accent particulier sur les femmes soit à partir de radio-clubs ou dans la position de l'activiste social local.
